You Don't Even Have To Press Record. Just Turn It On!

The LED light on the iPhone is a nice feature. You can turn the flash on and off when taking photos or video. When you turn the flash on while filming, the light is on and this can be used as a flash light when you want to see. It’s a pretty bright light and it looks really cool. It can use up a lot of battery power so I wouldn’t recommend using it nonstop. When you turn off the iPhone’s screen, the light shuts off too because this tells the device that you aren’t filming anymore. The light only comes on if you turn it on while filming a video.
