There are so many word games in the App Store and one of the biggest hits seem to be Hanging With Friends. This game is actually pretty addicting once you get started and playing with your friends make it a lot better than playing with a computer. There’s a free version and one that costs $1.99 but right now it is on sale for only $0.99. The creators of the application, Zynga, also created Words With Friends.

Hanging With Friends is very much like a game of hang man, but with a better twist. There are different avatar characters you can choose and you can also chat with your opponent that you are playing with. This game can take awhile when you play it because it goes back and forth to you and your opponent so you receive their word whenever they do. If you want to play with your friends, just log into your Facebook account and send them a word. This game takes strategy and you have to think about some tough words to stump your opponent.

You get five balloons (extra lives) and you don’t want them to pop. So try to solve as many words as you can and they won’t pop. When you guess someone’s word, you get eight strikes (sometimes you get four strikes). If you go to the main menu and tap on profile, there’s an option where it says help. For new members (like me), tap on that icon and it will tell you the basics on how to play this game. There are also power ups that can help you solve the words more but some of them cost with coins. Just Get Connected To The Wi-Fi And Then The Message Won't Appear

Sometimes when you’re on a phone call with someone, they ask you if you can check something for them. This could be the weather, mail, photos, alerts, or something that is specifically on you’re iPhone and you need to check it. Instead of hanging up on the person you are talking to, there is a nice multi-tasking solution that you can do.

During a phone call, you are using your cellular network so you can’t just check if you have new mail while on a call (for example). Go ahead and put the person you are talking to on speaker phone and then press your home button. You should be at the main home screen and on the top it should say: “Touch to return to call” and then how long you have been talking to that person. To check your mail (to see if you got new letters) or want to search something on the web, just go to settings and turn on your Wi-Fi. You can now check to see if you have new letters or search things online.

Usually you would be using your cellular network when you search the web or check your mail. We don’t usually turn on our Wi-Fi feature because we have the network instead. But since we are on that phone call, you just need to turn it on and then you’ll be fine to do whatever you want internet wise.

Colorware is a website that lets you choose a product and lets you change the color to it. They have many different products that they do like phones, computers, gaming, music, specialty, soft goods, gift cards, and you can see some color samples that you can mess around with. This website is pretty neat because you can choose all these different types of colors and you can also add different effects (like a gloss). The price for either a black or white iPod Touch is $375.00. The iPhone color price is $750.00.

You Don't Even Have To Press Record. Just Turn It On!

The LED light on the iPhone is a nice feature. You can turn the flash on and off when taking photos or video. When you turn the flash on while filming, the light is on and this can be used as a flash light when you want to see. It’s a pretty bright light and it looks really cool. It can use up a lot of battery power so I wouldn’t recommend using it nonstop. When you turn off the iPhone’s screen, the light shuts off too because this tells the device that you aren’t filming anymore. The light only comes on if you turn it on while filming a video. Letterpress Cards from Apple makes it easy to create and mail beautifully crafted cards personalized with your own text and photos. This application is free and they are pretty fun to make. First you choose a design, add your own photo and message, and then choose your recipient. Apple will print your card and mail it for you. Even though this is free, each card is $2.99 when sent within the U.S. and $4.99 when sent to or from anywhere else. This includes postage and you get a notification the day it is supposed to arrive (in the U.S.).

You need to have the new iOS 5 update on your Apple device in order to get this card making application. In the application, you can swipe to choose 21 letterpress designs with all kinds of different themes to choose from. Tap to add your own message, try out a favorite photo, or a new photo that you took. Finally all you have to do is choose someone from your contacts list and then Apple does the dirty work for you.

How Far Can You Go?

This game is the new top hit in the App Store and it is so addicting. You can download this game for free and enjoy playing this cool graphical game. The storyline is about some adventurer who finds a golden monkey idol thing and takes it. The monkeys get angry at him and start to chase you. The objective of the game is to collect coins and run away from them (or get the highest score you possibly can). This game is pretty fun and competitive when it comes to beating your friend’s high score.

At the end of the game, it tells you your score, distance you’ve ran, how many coins you collected, and multiplier. There are also little icons that say Store, Free Coins, Tweet, and then the Game Center icon. The store icon is where you can spend your coins that you collect during the game. It gives you powerups and upgrades so it can help you get a higher score. The Game Center icon lets you see your friend’s scores and all kinds of other scores. The Free Coins icon lets you buy more coins and the Tweet icon is just for Twitter stuff.

The main menu shows you objectives, stats, store, options, and more games. You can check out what objectives you need to unlock (while you play). The stats tell you your progress in the game and you can go to the options section to turn the volume down and stuff like that. It also has an option to turn the tutorial on or off if you don’t know how to control/play the game. If you like Temple Run, then go ahead and check out their other games. You might like them a lot too.

Q: IPhone 4 not restoring! Help? I plugged my iPhone 4 into my MacBook this afternoon to update the software, it downloaded fine but when I tried to then put it onto the phone, it keeps saying that the restore failed and I have to try again but every time I do the same happens again. This means I can’t even get onto the phone, it just stays with the whole plug into iTunes picture! I’ve turned my laptop on and off, pressed the home and lock button on the phone and unplugged the phone from the laptop. What else can I do and why is this happening?

A: I’ve had the same issue with my iPod Touch (with version 4 not iOS 5) and it was so frustrating because it took me hours till I got it solved. Hopefully my issue will solve yours. If you’ve been clicking on the option to “download and update” and it kept saying that it failed, then try just downloading the software only. Then update it separately (by syncing it or clicking on an option button that says update iPhone). Hopefully that should work for you. If not, then I would recommend going to your nearest Apple Store and tell them about your issue. So far, updating Apple devices to the new iOS 5 has just been a screw up.

Q: Can I set a text signature on my iPhone 4s? If so how?

A: That is so odd. It’s like Apple totally forgot about that feature. They’ve put it on the older iPhones, but on the iPhone 4 and 4s, you can’t set your signature. You can set an e-mail signature, but they don’t have the option to set your own text message signature right now. They may have this option in their future iPhones or in some update.

Q: I Lose My Ipod Touch And what happends when Someone Unblocks It ? I Lost my Ipod Touch Last night at the movies, and it had a passcode,I Know that it is possible to unblock it, but when they unbluck it can they see all my pictures , passwords, and stuff i had in it? Or does all the information in it reset? ): please tell me?

A: I’ve had a similar experience except someone stole my iPod Touch. Did you have an application on your iPod Touch called “Find my iPhone” by Apple? That application helps a lot for any Apple device when it’s lost or stolen (but it can only locate iPods if they’re connected to the internet).
The person who stole my iPod Touch jail broke it. This means they went through the pass code and totally jacked my iPod up. That’s one way someone can get in your iPod with a pass code. When they jailbreak the iPod, it wipes out everything (if they set it that way) and can do all kinds of crazy stuff to make it look like it’s not yours at all. But there is a way to get all of your stuff back (which is re-syncing it in your iTunes. Hopefully the person will do the right thing and give you your iPod back.

It's A Very Nice Feature And Easy To Use Program

I am into all kinds of music and I just love it. I try to find all the songs that I want and put them on my iPod. Problem is I can’t find all of the songs that I want. Some of them may be too “old” or just hard to find. You may find it in iTunes, but sometimes it says “Album Only” or it just costs too much. So I did some searching and I found something called YouTube FreeCorder.

Literally you can find all kinds of songs on YouTube. People watch music videos or favorite clips on that site all the time. YouTube FreeCorder allows you to record anything on YouTube and you can put the recording in your iTunes library. This is what I’ve done with some of the songs I couldn’t find and it’s a lifesaver. When you are done recording, all you have to do is right click it (you can also rename your recording) and then click “play in default player.”

All you have to do is download the free toolbar and then click on the music note (after you are done with the download). Then you play the video and it will automatically start recording once it realizes it’s playing. It will only record things from your computer (not your surroundings). If you are in a busy environment, it won’t pick up any noise from outside. Only audio that is coming from your computer. Hope you like it!
