iOS 6 For The iPod Touch, iPhone, And iPad

It Gives Everything A New Look For The Better...

When we find out there’s a new iOS program, we just usually download it and not even read/know about what it’s about. I want to tell you what this program can actually do and how it is something we should all be excited about. Having an upgrade to anything should be a great experience and this is something that all Apple users should download when they can.

Usually, Apple is good about sending out a message asking if you’d like to download the new iOS programs (like iOS 6). Because of iCloud, you don’t actually have to plug your mobile device into your computer and sync it into iTunes. After you have the new iOS 6 downloaded, you probably may not notice that much, but really there are some huge benefits with iOS 6.

Some of the new things that they’ve added make everything seem so much better/cool. For example, if you go into your music or even the App Store, they’ve changed how the designs use to look. When you download an application, it will show you the progress on how far it’s downloaded without exiting the App Store. They’ve also added Genius, so it can be easier to find applications that suite you. It also doesn’t ask for your password when downloading applications (unless they cost), but they do ask for it every once in a while. For the people who didn’t have the iPhone 4S, this upgrade (to the new iOS 6) gives you Siri.

They’ve also added an application called Passbook which is basically an application that lets you store all your passes in one place. This includes boarding passes, tickets, store cards, and coupons. It takes you to the App Store so you can download applications that do stuff like that. The downfall about the new iOS 6 is that they’ve taken out the YouTube application and now you have to download the official application in the App Store. It’s free (unless you have an iPad it costs some unless you download the iPhone version). You could also use Safari if you want to watch YouTube videos.

What do you think about the new iOS 6? Have you found other things that you like or dislike? Apple iPhone 5 Released

Make Way For The Next Generation...

On September 21st, Apple is shipping the new iPhone 5 to the United States, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and Britain. This phone is supposed to be a huge upgrade compared to the 4 and the 4S. It has a 4 inch retina display and feels lighter than the 4S. 4G will be programed in the phone (instead of the 3G network), so you get faster and better reception/quality. This iPhone, is going to run twice as fast as the last generation by using a program called A6. You can pre-order it this Friday for only $199 with the data plan. It will pack three microphones making a built-in voice assistant Siri and an 8 megapixel camera that can take dimensional views.

The iPhone 5 will be available to Verizon Wireless, AT&T, and Sprint. It should be able to last for about eight hours of 4G browsing. The operating system will be iOS 6 and everything will just be a whole new experience with this new phone. Software upgrades like voice navigation and “Passbook” (stores electronic boarding passes, sports tickets and gift cards), will be included. Not only that, but SIRI WILL BE IMPROVED! With many more questions that can be answered and not just be some useless voice system that doesn’t know anything. There’s also these new headphones that come with it called EarPods which are suppose to give you surround sound and better fitting in the ear. What do you think about this new device?

iTunes Credit Card Troubles

Get The Option To Have No Credit Card On File And Use iTunes Gift Cards Instead!

My sister’s account was having some technical difficulties which lead to situations such as not allowed to purchase anything (even free things). This was because her social security card number wasn’t being accepted. We discontinued the card and they wanted us to put in the social security number, but since we discontinued it, it wouldn’t accept that accurate number. If this happens to you, here’s a way to solve this problem.

We tried getting no credit cards on her account so they were not on file, but we had to get that problem solved first. So if this happens to you, you need to put a different credit card in (replacing that old one on the account) and then it will make your account all normal again (purchasing wise). Once you have that new card on file, you can go ahead onto iTunes (on your computer) and click on “Account.” Once you do that, you would need to go ahead and click “Edit” where the credit card section is. They will show you different options for credit cards and then they will have a button that says “None.”

After clicking on that option, you will have no credit cards on file and your account will be the way you want it. If you do want to buy things and not use your credit card, just purchase an iTunes gift-card and you can do it that way without using your credit card. If you have a question, then click here and I will be most glad to help you out in any way.

iTunes Account Billing Issues

You Can Also Try Redeeming A Gift Card To Buy Things

When you first make your iTunes account, you have the ability to not put a credit card on file (by clicking on the “none” button near the other credit card company logos). If you don’t put a credit card on file, you can add one anytime. But once you do, you can’t take the credit card out of your account (unless you contact iTunes support). We had a credit card on one of our iTunes accounts and since the card got deleted, we had no use for it and we wanted to get it out of the account. It kept asking for a security code number, but whenever we did add it, it said it was invalid.

There was no point since the card was discontinued and because iTunes wants that social security number, we can’t download anything. Not even free applications, music, or updates for applications. This was very irritating, so we called Apple and they tried helping us. It turned out that we had to contact iTunes support by e-mailing them. They said that the problem should be solved in about two days. But if you have any problems with iTunes and billing information, don’t waist anymore time and just contact iTunes support by clicking here.

Tips When Syncing iPod or iPhone In New Computer

Have A Problem With Syncing On iTunes? Get Help Here...

I synced my iPhone into my new computer today and things went haywire! I want to give you some tips on what you should do and what comes ahead when doing so. When you are planning to sync your iPod or iPhone or even iPad in a new computer, it will erase and sync everything that’s in the iTunes library. I’ve learned this the hard way and hopefully you don’t go through this problem as well. Before syncing your Apple device into the new computer, try to see if you can back it up beforehand. I don’t know if this will work for sure (because it was too late for me), but hopefully it works for you.

With my iPhone syncing with that iTunes Library, it erased all of my songs and replaced it with the ones in that iTunes library. It wasn’t the best thing in the world and I had to get them back. My applications were out of place and I had to re-put them back in the order that I had them in manually. My tones were deleted too and this upset me so much. So I thought really hard and I went to my old computer (with all of  my older stuff) and had a flash drive. I synced my flash drive into the computer and got my files (music, ringtones, etc.) onto it. I then synced it into my new computer and all of my stuff was there! All I had to do was file and then add folder to library. It worked and I got all of my tones back! This may work for music too, but not so sure.

I hope this experience will help you out on your iTunes adventure! If you have any questions or related stories, go ahead and comment about them below. Hope this helped! New iOS 6 Coming Out This Fall From Apple

This Is The Moment We're All Waiting For...

Apple has finally announced when the new iOS 6 program will be coming out this Fall. It’s a free software and people who already have an Apple mobile device (iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch), can download it directly onto it as soon as it’s available. Many people are excited with this new software and this will give us more improvements that we’ve been waiting for. Since they are talking about a new iOS and how you can download it directly to your device, this probably means that the new iPhone 5 (or 6 depending on how you think of it) won’t be a new device, but simply just a new iOS instead.

Some of the new things that iOS 6 will have will include an improved Siri, Passbook, Accessibility, and many other improvements that Apple has already given us. The maps are beautifully designed with lots of detail and you can even have a voice tell you where to go (like your own personal navigator). With the new and improved Siri, it can understand many things including languages, more countries, and it’s also available on the new iPad. It is basically a helping hand and tells you what time your movie starts, what the scores to your favorite sports game is, and can open apps directly. Read more

Fast-Fix Repairs iPod Touch

It's Not Just Jewelry, They Fix iPods Too.

Need to get an iPod Touch fixed up? Fast-Fix Jewelry and Watch Repairs can actually fix up your iPod Touch. I called them up and they asked me what kind of iPod I am asking for. I told them it was the 4th generation (with the camera on it), and the entire front screen can come off (so you can see the actual battery inside). The person on the other line told me that they could fix it for $69, but they don’t usually fix devices with cameras on it because they might damage the camera.

They can fix the problem, but if anything happens to the camera, then they aren’t responsible for it. So you’re pretty much taking a risk, but you can most likely get your iPod Touch fixed. If it was the other iPod where there wasn’t a camera on it, then you’d probably get it fixed no problem. They might be able to fix other apple devices (like nanos) as long as they don’t have the camera. Fast-Fix Repair is a nationwide place, so you can find the nearest place and see if you can get your iPod fixed now.
