Best Application For The iPod Touch iPhone And iPad

Help Fund Arcade Extravaganza For The iPhone, iPad, and iTouch.

I have a dream and I want that dream to become a reality. I have the most brilliant idea of a game called Arcade Extravaganza that can be in the App Store, but I can’t do it without you. I’ve had this idea all written down in detailed description, but I need a developer.

That can’t happen without the funds we need for this brilliance. I want to show the world that I can do this. What is Arcade Extravaganza?

Arcade Extravaganza will consist of six games that you might find in an arcade or carnival. Over the last eight years or so of my life, I’ve always enjoyed the special times I spent with my family at carnivals and arcade rooms. I was unable to find an application that would give me those same great feelings, so I decided to create one.

We are going to begin by creating the application framework along with the first game called Stack Em Up (based on Stacker). Our research has shown there are similar games available, but don’t be fooled because our game will consist of 10 brand new creative and enhanced levels along with a prize redemption area. The remaining five games will be just as incredibly creative and enhanced as Stack Em Up. They are similar to: slam-a-winner, whistle stop, mountain ski ball/capsule craze, flaming finger, and carnival duck shoot game.

Our goal is to have a number one winning application among iDevice users. So we know we’ll have to create an application that blows the community away. To achieve this lofty goal we will be focusing on quality, reliability, stability, creativity, and fun.

Any additional funds will be used to complete the remaining five games. Arcade Extravaganza full version owners (lite version consists of only one level and will be free) will get the 5 additional games through free updates. We are also going to consider community improvements and suggestions. As a result, Arcade Extravaganza will be an iDevice community effort.

Please take time to check out my idea out and share it to as much people as you possibly can. Even that one dollar helps us out tremendously. Everything counts. Thank you.

iPad And iPod Touch Features

All Of These Categories Will Help You Find Something Similar

The iPad is one of Apple’s best-selling products. We have the new iPad 3 and it has been the most entertaining thing for all of us. We don’t have cable for our TV, so we use the iPad and watch stuff on it using applications like Hulu, Netflix, and Vevo. iPad and iPod Touch are very similar and watching your favorites on the big screen (that’s easily portable) makes this device very nice for us. There are some things that this device doesn’t have compared to the iPod Touch or iPhone.

The iPad doesn’t have some applications like the iPod Touch. Some of them are the weather, calculator, voice memos, stocks, and clock. This is disappointing because those applications are very useful. The only way to get something similar is to download them on the App Store. Just go to the categories section and find the highest rating application (usually those ones are the best). If you have a specific application that you enjoy/like using, comment below and tell us so we can feature it.

Even though the iPad doesn’t have those applications, the iPod Touch doesn’t have some stuff as well. For example, it doesn’t have the Photo Booth feature programmed into it like the iPad. There are applications specifically made for the iPad. The iPod Touch isn’t able to download these apps, but the iPad can download both the iPod Touch version and the iPad version. So they both have their advantages and disadvantages. What do you think about this?

Importing CD’s Onto iTunes Library

When Your Import Is Successful, It Shows A Green Check

CD’s can be put to your iTunes library easily by importing them. This is so much easier and nicer instead of re-buying all kinds of things from iTunes or downloading the same stuff that you already have. Want to try it out? It’s very easy and simple to do. This doesn’t cost you a single penny either.

Go ahead and put the CD of your choice in your computer. When you open iTunes, it will show your CD on the side where it says DEVICES.  Once you click on that CD, it will show you the list of the entire album. On the bottom right of the screen, it will say import and export. Click on the import option and then it will start converting those songs on your CD into your iTunes library. That’s it! It’s a very nice feature and easy to do.

As it is importing, it will automatically put that song into your library. You can also import individual songs and stop importing stuff if you change your mind. Once you’re done, you can go to Advanced and then click on “Get Album Artwork.” This may find the album artwork to most of your songs and stuff which is nice (so you don’t get that grey music note). Sometimes it can’t find it though. But that’s how you import CD’s into your iTunes library.

Reasons Why You Should Upgrade Your iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad

Older Versions Suck... Just Upgrade Already

There are many reasons why you should upgrade your iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. You will get better opportunities and a faster device. The application store that many of us use, depends on what version your iPod is. The lower version your device is, the less applications you will be able to download. You’ll also be more likely to get bugs and a slow reaction on your device.

When you don’t upgrade your device for a really long time, things can get screwed up easily. With the new iTunes and iCloud out, Apple expects lots of people with the latest version right now. People who don’t upgrade their mobile device will have the most problems. There won’t be as much solutions on solving their problems either. Quality isn’t as great compared to the newer versions out right now.

Upgrading your Apple device is the best thing to do. You won’t experience as much problems and if you do, Apple will most likely have an easy solution. Upgrading your iTunes is a good idea as well. You’re music and how you sync your device will be better and faster. Things just get better when you upgrade them.

Volume Buttons Jammed On iTouch

Those Two Areas Are Really Sensitive. Don't Press Too Hard!

Some Apple devices aren’t always perfect. In fact, they can be defective even though you got it in a brand new packaging. Most of the time, people just have bad luck and things get screwed up. One of the problems people are having out there is with their volume buttons on the side of an iTouch, iPhone, and iPad. All they did was turn the volume up just like they normally would and then it just gets jammed in the device. If this has happened to you, then here’s what I’ve got to say.

You’re iPod is most likely in the terms of broken. With the volume buttons jammed (in the device), your screen will show the volume going up and down. If you have a problem similar to this, then take it in the Apple Store and tell them what happened. Lots of people have had this problem and when they took their iPod in the store, they got a brand new one for free. Who knows? Maybe you’ll get a brand new one as well.

Another volume problem people have been experiencing is when you are listening to your music and the volume just keeps going down by itself. I use to have this problem, and it’s just a glitch or tweak that your iPod is having. Try turning your device off and wait for about a minute and turn it back on. If nothing has changed, then reset your iPod by holding the home button and the power button at the same time and hold it until you see the white apple appear. If you still have this problem, then sync it in your iTunes or take it to the Apple Store and tell them what’s going on. Hope everything works out!

Lock Your Portrait Orientation On Your iPod Touch

Once You Lock It, It Will Show You A Lock Symbol In The Circle Arrow

Sometimes when you are listening to music or watching movies, you are in an angle where the whole portrait turns. There’s a way to fix that annoying action. You need to have the latest version or else it won’t work. Double click your home button (so it lifts up to the multitasking feature). Slide to your right and then it will show you the music icon, play/skip buttons, and then an icon with a little silver arrow in a circle. Tap on that, and it will lock your orientation. When you turn your screen sideways, the picture will stay the same because it locks it. This also works for the iPad and iPhone (as long as it has the newest version with the multitasking feature).

Easily Damaged Apple Devices: iPod Touch

As great as they look, Apple can be very careless when it comes to making money. Millions of their products have been sold and many of them have made customers very happy. But some of them have been damaged already without even knowing until it shows. For example, I had a friend who told me her iPod Touch broke. I asked her what happened and she said that the top part (screen) of the iPod would pop right off. Other people have been having similar problems and that’s just not right (even if you have dropped it once, it shouldn’t do that).

If this has ever happened to you or someone you know, then go ahead and take it in the nearest Apple Store. Usually Apple just gives you a brand new iPod Touch for free, but that is the only time they will ever do something like that. My screen cracked once and I brought it in and they just swapped it for a brand new one (but it was just for that one time). So go ahead and tell Apple what happened and you should get your damaged iPod fixed.

Upgrade Right From Your Apple Device

So Simple To Do...

Most people are too lazy to sync their iPod, iPhone, or iPad in the computer on iTunes. That means they won’t know when the next update for their iPod Touch is. This can lead to slow reacting, crashes, and less opportunities (application wise). If you are one of those people who plug in your device regularly, then you are already upgraded to the iOS 5 (or higher). Now you don’t need to sync your iPod or iPhone in regularly to find upgrades because iCloud does that for you.

iCloud has given us so many advantages with linking our stuff to other devices. It connects us to our iTunes account and shares our stuff with linked accounts. Now it alerts us when there’s a new upgrade for the iPod touch, iPhone, and iPad. You can either ignore the message and then do it manually on your computer or you can upgrade it right there. It didn’t take me that long at all and it was very convenient. Want the same experience? Then get iCloud on your Apple electronic!

iTunes Movie Rentals

Choose A Movie and Enjoy

The iTunes Store is all about purchasing your favorite music, movies, and podcasts. Some of us don’t even know how to rent movies on iTunes. Go ahead and find a movie that you are interested in renting. Go to that movie’s page (to purchase it, read the details, etc). Tap on rent and you’re good to go!

Easy right? Well people don’t realize how long these rentals last and if you’re wasting your money or not. iTunes is probably one of the most quickest/easiest ways of renting and purchasing movies, but it can rip you off. You can find the same movie on another rental company (like Redbox, Blockbuster, even Netflix) and rent it for a cheaper price there. If you are still interested on renting movies on iTunes, then you may want to know some facts behind it.

When renting or buying movies on iTunes, they will always give you the option to purchase it in HD. If you scroll down, it will have an option to download it in SD for a cheaper price. You have 30 days from the time of rental to watch your movie, and 24 hours (in the US) or 48 hours (elsewhere) after you’ve started viewing to finish it. Once the rental period expires, the movie will disappear from your iTunes library.

Gloves That Respond On Your iPhone And iPod Touch

If you haven’t noticed, wearing gloves and using your mobile device don’t go well together. It just won’t respond when you touch the screen. This can be bad when they are cold like during the winter time. We would have to go through all that trouble in taking the glove off and then putting it back on. Now, there’s a solution to solve that problem so you get the warmth your hands want and the joy of using your iPhone or iPod Touch. If you are interested in buying these gloves, click here.
