Slight correction. Apparently you have 24 hours from the time you start downloading and you foolishly hit the play button. Unfortunately, it won’t actually start playback until the download finishes – which in my case took 6 hours. But the clock started ticking at 8PM. By 3AM I turned off the movie and figured to finish it at 10PM that night. Too late!

Seems like a bug in their system and they might even have fixed the bug. Unfortunately, I have not been able to install new versions of iTunes since the installer insists that it can’t see the update file it just downloaded (Windows 7 SP1 64bit). I guess if I want to keep using iTunes I’ll have to figure out why. Netflix is looking a little better.

Also, you cannot hear music through the speaker if the phone is in vibe mode.

Try this 100 % its working ANOTHER SOLUTION FOR YOU PEOPLE ….PRESS AND HOLD THE POWER BUTTON ( DO NOT SLIDE IT ) ONCE IT COMES PRESS AND HOLD THE HOME BUTTON UNTIL HOME SCREEN APPERS ..AFTER THE PLAY A AUDIO OR VIDEO FILE … ITS WORKING ….

I’m also having the same issue, when i put an artist or album from the artist it wont show up in my list… but when i turn the iPod to cover flow and go all the way to the beginning of the A’s artist i notice there are different albums behind it and it will be the Artist that doesn’t show up in the music list! It’s really frustrating and its with a lot of different artists i have and i have re-imported the CD in iTunes and re sync it and still have the same issue… So I’m hoping apple fixes this or I’m going to just leave Apple all together

Restore your iPod Touch. I restored it as a new iPod and now my iPod Touch works like normal. I am so happy! But if you’re music is playing but isn’t showing the names of the artists (or the picture), then you might want to contact Apple for that.

I know when i downloaded it, my ipod had lots of upgrades but apple totally screwed up the music part. the names of the songs/artists that i have on my ipod all say unknown but when i plug my ipod to my laptop, all the artists are there on itunes . i dont get it.

Thank you, oh, so much! I was really confused because i just got my iPhone 2 days ago and was so “scared” to think that it had already gotten messed up because i don’t have warranty! o_O THANKS!
